kayaking Lake Gregory

Escape to the amazing paddling opportunities at Lake Gregory in the San Bernardino Mountains. You can now launch private kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards on the lake, and there are also rental options available if you don't have your own boat. The 86-acre lake offers a variety of watercraft to explore, including kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, windsurfers, sailboats, rowboats, electric motor boats, belly boards, aquacycles, and pedal boats.

After a pleasant paddle around the lake's perimeter, there are plenty of other outdoor activities to enjoy, from swimming and fishing to hiking the 300-foot water slide on the western shore. This huge, inflated structure floats on 13,755 square feet of the lake's Swim Cove, which also features sandy beaches, restrooms, grills, picnic tables and shelters, and volleyball courts.

Beyond the water, Lake Gregory Regional Park offers a fitness trail that encircles the lake, perfect for hiking, jogging, or walking through the pines and mountain town of Crestline. And the surrounding area provides even more adventures, from horseback riding and wildlife viewing to mountain biking and camping.

Whether you're looking for a quick day trip or a longer getaway, be sure to add Lake Gregory to your bucket list. This picturesque mountain lake offers an amazing paddling experience and a wealth of other recreational activities.
